Breakwater Lodge is in the heart of Cape Town's busy Waterfront, within easy distance of the central business district. The Lodge, with its stunning views of Table Mountain and of the harbour, has 250 bedrooms with either en-suite bathrooms or shared shower facilities. It offers the best value-for-money at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.  


 

  There is a choice of restaurants in the hotel: the self-service restaurant "Stonebreakers" and the à la carte "Treadmill Restaurant & Bar" with its pleasant bar. The Lodge has an extensive choice of banqueting and over 40 state-of-the-art conference facilities. There is ample secure parking.

Breakwater Lodge is owned by UCT's Graduate School of Business and their executive courses are conducted at Breakwater.


 

Once a 19th Century prison, the lodge today provides comfortable, inexpensive accommodation in a spectacular setting that looks out over the bay and up onto Table Mountain. While at your doorstep, you can enjoy Cape Town's best at the Waterfront's multitude of celebrated eateries and entertainment centres, including the Two Oceans Aquarium.


 

Breakwater Lodge's 250 rooms include business and family suites. With options ranging from twin, double and single rooms with en-suite bath or shower, to single and twin sharing shower.

The rooms are all comfortable, welcoming and attractively furnished. A relaxing environment when it's time to put up your feet. And, if the need arises, a functional space to write up a pressing report.

All rooms are equipped with TV/radio and telephone. And, if you need a little refreshment, a welcome tray with biscuits and facility to make your own coffee or tea is supplied.
 
Each floor has four corner lounges where you can tune into M-Net or meet up with friends over a cup, or a glass, of whatever you please. When you feel a little peckish, pop into Stonebreakers, our self-service restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Or simply for something in between. For those who need something on the run, there are a number of vending machines located around the building.
